Gaspar López Torres has always had a keen interest in web technologies. Since 1991, founded and continues as Director of Infoco, an eServices company based in Barcelona, Spain. He regularly participates in international discussion groups about the future possibilities of Web Self-Service.

Gaspar is also fascinated with questions concerning the nature of reality and the intersection between virtual and material universes, and how these questions bear relevance to perspectives on the meaning of our existence.

The fusion of his professional activities and philosophical thoughts provided his motivation to write "Dominio" a cyber-thriller that imaginatively speculates about the consequences of developing at Infoco a revolutionary new internet search engine, in which individuals in the form of increasingly self-aware virtual persons find information for their "real" counterparts.
